Job Description
The Vice President Travel & Lodging, MEA is responsible for expanding our travel & lodging segment to help the region achieve their strategic objective of diversifying from the FI centered business as of today. Acting as a strategic thought leader to enable growth of Mastercard’s travel segment through co brands, B2B Flows, platforms and services in the MEA region. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the organization by defining and executing a travel segment growth strategy by articulating customer segment solutions and packaging strategy for Mastercard products and services
• Provide strategic leadership to partners in the product & services organization to ensure Mastercard products are enabling sustainable differentiation for our customers within RFP scope and beyond
• Build and lead a high performing team that is enabled to position Mastercard’s brand as the “brand of choice” for travel industry
• Leverage integrated analytics and voice of customer to proactively identify growth opportunities that enable sales drive share shift and increase services revenues

Requirements:

• In depth understanding of the merchant industry verticals like travel, hotels, OTAs
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to develop and maintain high quality relationships at C-suite level of digital partners
• Deep digital/emerging technology experience with multi-disciplinary knowledge, i.e. product development, business development, marketing, operations, risk, etc
• Be able to understand and leverage payments technology and innovation to drive results
