Position: VP Legal Counsel
We are looking for a mid-level (i.e., 4-8 years out of law school) in-house counsel to draft and negotiate a variety of cloud services agreements (including SaaS and PaaS agreements), software license agreements, professional services agreements, and other customer-facing contracts relating to the company’s suite of products aimed at the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise on contract interpretation and legal aspects of business strategy.
  • Review and advise on property transactions and employment related matters and agreements.
  • Manage contentious files and settlements.

Requirements:

  • Law Degree from an accredited law school and admitted to practice law in at least one state.
  • Minimum of 4 years of sophisticated transactional experience as an attorney gained at a technology company (e.g., cloud services provider, SaaS provider, software company) or at a law firm.
  • Exposure to and familiarity with the legal framework governing data security in the United States, including Gramm Leach Bliley and state data breach notification laws.
