Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled commercial lawyer with 4+ years experience to join our EMEA Legal Team. Reporting to the Lead Counsel for European Sales Monetisation you will support the creator, marketing and sales team supporting the monetisation side of TikTok in Northern and Western Europe

Responsibilities:

1. engage strong analytic capabilities to advise on legal risks (including a broad range of compliance issues relating to advertising, data privacy, IPRs and media regulation), business strategies and other issues related to roll-out of new products and managed services including opening up in new territories
2. media sales contracts with media buying agencies and direct enterprise clients that use the TikTok platform to increase their brand awareness and accelerate their performance campaign advertising including data sharing contracts and additional features such as monetised livestreams
3. brand collaborations that extend a brand campaign to encompass events, sponsorships and creator engagement opportunities
4. agreements governing creative assets provided by our in-house team, talent agreements and image releases

Requirements:

1. You will be qualified in England with between 4+ years experience
2. qualified into the commercial, media & technology or advertising division of a leading private practice law firm and gained solid drafting and negotiating experience in house
3. acquired in-depth knowledge of advertising and promotional marketing law and industry standards especially in relation to brand safety requirements
4. an understanding of advertising technology, legal issues arising on a UGC platform and familiarity with the privacy issues in this environment with a strong grounding in the GDPR
