Job Description
Responsible for the delivery of a quality radiology service to both internal and external customers of the American Hospital. Liaise closely with the Chief Radiologist and Chief Operating Officer to perform and be responsible for the administration of the department. Annually, recommend equipment, space and manpower

Responsibilities:

• Sets up staff work schedule and assigns equitable workload to employees in accordance with established department workflow.
• Handles the technical aspect of the department ensuring that all equipment function properly.
• Oversees and assists section supervisors in setting up, administrative departmental processes, technical protocols and workflows as created by the Chief Radiologist.
• Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations.
• Manages the Department’s inventory (equipment, supplies)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a Radiography, Radiology Technology or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging program
• Current Registered Li-censure in country of citizenship or professional practice.
• Knowledge of JCIA or accreditation standards.
• Minimum seven (7) years postgraduate clinical practice experience in which three (3) years should be in a supervisory/ managerial role.
