Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a commercially minded leader to join our team as our Supply Chain Commercial Specialist. This role can be based from any of our key offices in the UK

Responsibilities:

1. Lead management of the Jacobs global supply management and procurement function within the region, working closely with functions including Ethics, Compliance, HSE and Quality, to meet corporate compliance including fulfilling the “Process Owner” role for the region on Global Supply Management continuous improvement initiatives and Business Management System (BMS) updates
2. Steer development of sourcing strategies to cement Jacobs role as leaders in our industry in achieving UK government policy, including the preparation and implementation of associated policies and procedures including but not limited to prompt payment, SME engagement, modern slavery, IR35, Bribery & Corruption and GDPR
3. Engaging with the supply chain to ensure we can deliver against our commitments to our clients and supporting adoption of the Collaborative Working when we work in partnership with others to support our ISO44001 Registration
4. Provide leadership with the Global Business Services (GBS) team
5. Work with legal and Global Supply Management on agreeing standard terms and conditions

Requirements:

1. Significant experience in procurement/contracting/ contracts management including tendering, negotiation and award of contracts
2. Experience in procurement and commercial management in a construction/engineering environment
3. Significant Supply Chain Management experience
4. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Procurement, Legal or Quantity Surveying is preferred
