Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the team who is highly motivated, passionate about the BBC, great at building strong working relationships with stakeholders and other companies to share experiences and ensure the delivery of the best possible service and user experience to our customers inside the BBC and externally

Responsibilities:

1. Take ownership of gathering and articulating user, business and technical requirements (both functional and non-functional), documenting accurately, to ensure all requirements that contribute to a business case and solution delivery are valid and traceable
2. Advise on the implementation of strategy and identification of technical options within business areas, using research information to inform and drive business options and decisions
3. Acquire in-depth knowledge of existing business processes and systems, documenting process models and task analysis, to identify areas for potential process improvement
4. Work with business areas to define business benefits, creating benefits maps and introducing measures to baseline, track and report progress against targets, to measure performance and value

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of Recruitment, Resourcing and Onboarding functions within a complex HR systems landscape desirable
2. Comprehensive knowledge of business and data analysis tools and techniques such as: requirements engineering, structured analysis and design, process mapping and component business modelling, and business process re-engineering
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills; the ability to get the message across and relate to the audience
4. Comprehensive knowledge of project lifecycle delivery as a Business Analyst in a technical environment
5. Experience working in a large scale organisation who employ people on a wide range of contract types and durations and have adopt both standard and matrix management approaches
