Position: Software Test Automation Engineer

The employee’s role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired. This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-3 times per week The Software Test Engineer will perform as authority for all testing systems within the business domain. This role will perform ambiguity reviews of business requirements, implement tests, log defects, and report test results and status to the project teams

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and produces test and project metrics.
• Presents and Collaborates with appropriate team members to speak about blocking testing, and share where there are bugs or needed improvement
• Review test plans written by others and provide feedback or assistance
• Innovates the testing process using tools, techniques, process improvement.
• Analyzes and reviews business and system requirements.
