Position: Software Engineer – New Graduate
The Software Component Engineer will join our Software organization to develop new features of our next generation InFlight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) product suite. As a Scrum team member, the Software Component Engineer will design and implement changes in the Android based client components and in the Linux based server components meeting the quality objectives
Responsibilities:
- Implement and integrate new features in our InFlight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) product suite
- Participate in all phases of software development to extend the current Thales Linux Framework code, developing Android and Java applications
- Submit code for code review and participate in peer code reviews
Debug and fix problems found during testing activities and issues reported from the field
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
- 0-4 years of work experience
- Experience debugging on Linux and/or Android based systems
- Experience in Java and/or Android development
