Job Description
You will be working as Service Engineer and will be part of Robotics and Discrete Automation Business Area for Service and Digital platform Division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be reporting to Local Robotics and Discrete Automation Manager and will be responsible for achieving manufacturing excellence by delivering the right automation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-call emergency repairs of ABB Robotic system equipment in the field.
• Provide customer service and addressing their concerns and issues effectively and collaborate with suppliers to identify and resolve issues.
• Integration and installation of Robotic cells with control system and other peripheral devices.
• Repair and maintain ABB Robots, peripheral equipment’s and allied mechanical units.
• Perform installation and commissioning of Robots and provide system integration support of ABB robots to ABB system integrators as well as the end users.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of technical experience in industrial robotic projects.
• ABB Robot programming skills with strong application knowledge on Arc welding, Spot Welding, Palletizing, Machine tending, material handling etc.
• High level of proficiency in integration of different welding machines. Experience on advanced welding functions like weld Guide, Smartac, Laser seam tracking.
