Position: Senior Scientist (Biochemistry)

We have an exciting career opportunity for a creative, self-motivated Senior Scientist with exceptional technical, communication and problem-solving skills to join the Biochemistry/Biophysics team within our Pharmacology group at the Francis Crick Institute in London
Responsibilities:
- Develop assays to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of action of key compounds of interest
- Provide biochemical and biophysical expertise for target validation efforts
- Demonstrate the highest levels of excellence in quantitative experimentation, with an undertaking to extend and develop personal knowledge and expertise
Requirements:
- PhD in Biochemistry or a closely related discipline, with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a BSc/MSc in a similar discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills and a proven ability to work independently in a collaborative environment
- A good knowledge of the latest biochemical and biophysical technologies
