Position: Senior Medical Advisor, Oncology
We are now recruiting for a Senior Medical Manager to focus on Lung Cancer, reporting to the Therapy Area Medical Head for Lung/GI Cancers. The position is based in Moorgate, London, UK but you will have the flexibility to work remotely 3 days a week
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of the Lung Cancer Medical Affairs Plans (MAPs) and implement tactics identified in the MAP that align with the Company’s areas of interest and prioritised pipeline assets.
- Work cross functionally to undertake the delivery of specific (or support the delivery of) projects in the MAP, e.g. symposia, advice seeking activities, medical education initiatives.
- Collaborate with and provide support to field-based team members, enabling field medical excellence and robust field medical territory plans.
Requirements:
- A strong scientific background in medical or biological science is needed for this role, preferably a GMC registered doctor or a GPhC registered pharmacist.
- A good understanding and/or clinical practice experience in Oncology is desirable; however, we will consider applications from candidates with experience in other Therapeutic Areas.
- Be self-assured in your communication and social skills with excellent strategic planning and organisational skills.
