Sales Executive – MICE

Job Description

• To take part in all sales-related activities, and to effectively sell all aspects of the hotel.
• Handle the issues regarding to accounts/potential accounts as assigned.
• Develop new and maintain existing business accounts through the preparation and execution of action plans.
• Working closely with inter-related departments to ensure adherence to International and Hotel standards of food and beverage service.
• To focus on continual development and improvement of the banqueting department, ensuring the departments standing within the marketplace is maintained.
• Continual analysis and assessment of service, updating and amending service standards and procedures as required, forwarding proposals/recommendations to F&B Manager for approval. 
• Review the monthly turndown list and recap on sales experience.
• To be proactive within organizations and meetings outside the hotel with the purpose of increasing business levels.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Dubai & UAE sales market.
• Good communication & negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good knowledge in dealing with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
