Job Description
Salem Media Representatives (SMR) is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to provide administrative support for our national sales team. SMR’s national media strategists are among the best in our industry and therefore the selling environment is extremely fast-paced. 

Responsibilities:

1. Broadcast order entry (via internal Counterpoint Traffic system)
2. Gathering and coordination of station/network info, rates, pre/post-logs, scripts, spot transcriptions, air checks, affidavits, invoices, etc. and other various sales staff, client and station requests
3. Assist with the creation, proofing and assembly of sales pieces, sales proposals, promotional recaps, client PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and other correspondence as needed
4. Coordinating traffic/spots for both station and network orders
5. Various other projects or requests as needed

Requirements:

1. Strong organizational and time management skills – able to focus on urgent and important tasks, avoids procrastination, shows strong attention to detail, able to multi-task, follows through and meets all deadlines
2. Adapts easily and quickly to daily shifts in priorities and urgencies
3. Takes ownership of assignments and tasks – has aptitude in problem-solving and an intuitive ability to anticipate further needs
4. Proficient in all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and has the ability to learn new systems quickly
5. Maintains a positive attitude and is a team player
