Position: Safey Specialist
Maintain administrative practices concerning safety programs, health and wellness initiatives. Participates in safety committees, and facilitates the rollout of new programs and systems. Respond to safety issues as directed by the OHS Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative and Operations support for the safety program.
- Act as First Aid Responder (First Aid, CPR and AED certified) for work related and non-work related issues.
- Assist with coordination of Safety Committee Meetings, lead meeting when needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in Safety related warehousing and distribution preferred.
- Eligible for CPR, First Aid and AED certification.
