Job Description
As Restaurant General Manager, you are responsible for giving direction to the entire restaurant front of house team, which includes all three meal periods. You are responsible for continually focusing on achieving restaurant profitability through revenue generation and effective cost controls

Responsibilities:

1. Plans & schedules restaurant management floor coverage between himself, assistant managers and supervisors to ensure adequate management presence as required
2. Hands-on and highly visible manager on the floor during meal periods
3. Signs off weekly restaurant staffing schedules to ensure it is in line with the hotel business levels
4. Implements guidelines, SOP’s and policies and procedures
5. Manages performance issues that arise within the respective managers and employees

Requirements:

1. Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
2. Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
3. Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
4. Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
