Position: Professional Development Coach – CIS/ student life
Dubai, UAE
The Professional Development Coach supports three main areas: Coaching, Talent Development and Partner Challenges (projects students work on in partnership with mentor organizations focusing on real world challenges) program support. They are an integral part of the student life team. They focus on keeping students on track through partner challenges, serve as a touch point for support and also prepare students for the workforce
Responsibilities:
- Creating/Managing Team agreements – Divide tasks, positions within the team
- Allocating teams to specific Partners (organizations) and corresponding Mentors where appropriate
- Group Coaching (meeting student groups 1-3x per semester)
- Team dynamics – support teams in setting up healthy team dynamics for a positive working relationship
- Feedback sessions on final Partner Challenge presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Psychology, HR, Behavioural Sciences, Counselling/Adult Education etc.)
- Coaching Qualification (e.g. ICF PCC) from an accredited body (equivalent to 500 coaching hours)
- Experience with group coaching, facilitation and program design and delivery.
- Career Coaching/Counselling training/certification desirable.
