Job Description
The Payroll Coordinator will be an integral part of the Total Rewards team. This position provides support to our payroll and Paylocity processes. The Payroll Coordinator is also responsible for general administrative tasks, scheduling team meetings, data entry and expense tracking. This position reports to the Payroll Manager but also supports the Senior Director, Total Rewards and the Benefits Specialist with administrative tasks

Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge of all Meow Wolf payroll processes and is the primary backup for the Payroll Manager.
2. Ensures payroll accuracy by following up on payroll errors and ultimately facilitates correction of these errors.
3. Address any missed punches and PTO approvals prior to close of payroll.
4. Manage PTO balances by auditing on an annual basis and making any adjustments/corrections as needed throughout the year.
5. Complete all employment verifications in a timely manner. Upload documentation into the Paylocity file.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 1 year of payroll experience.
2. High school diploma/GED.
3. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Ability to create charts, pivot tables and reports.
4. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, interpersonal skills.
5. Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy under deadlines.
