Job Description
To coordinate administration, insurance approvals and related logistics relevant to all patient transfers and discharges within Mediclinic, and to and from other local and international healthcare facilities

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the logistics, case management and insurance related to patient transfers between Mediclinic and other hospitals, facilities and referring agencies

• Coordinate and facilitate patient discharges

• To coordinate the logistics and related administration for international patient admission and repatriation to and from the business unit

• To provide general support with the standardisation of company policies and reporting requirements

Requirements:

• Relevant formal qualification

• Relevant clinical qualification will be an advantage

• At least 5 years’ relevant patient administration and/or insurance experience in a healthcare setting
