Position: Mechanical Facilities Management
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings / departments / facilities and premises within the Atlantis Hotel Resort.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible to lead and manage assigned maintenance of the property in adherence to engineering and facilities maintenance procedures.
- This will include but not limited to: Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Kitchen, Painting, Carpentry, Audio and Visual systems, Fire Life Safety Systems, Recreational Water Systems, Hotel Rooms and Public Areas, Exterior Resort Features.
- You will be assigned to a specific sub department but may be required to perform in multiple areas.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree / diploma in mechanical engineering or any related field with a minimum of 5+ years within the facilities industry as a Facilities Engineer / Manager.
- Proven track record of working with operators, vendors, and contractors, ensure Local Compliance is upheld, particularly, DEWA, DM, DCD and other local authorities’ guidelines and current practice.
- Fully conversant with the Property Programs, ‘Targets and PPM Systems’ for the Effective Maintenance, and Management of MEP, Civil and Operational Systems.
