Job Description
The role is responsible to manage our online payment acceptance from all aspects, acting as the business owner of this stream while working with internal stakeholders and external partners across the region. The role will focus on optimizing payment costs, improving payment success rates, introducing new payment methods, improving experience and increasing online payments share

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for processing transactions amounting to billions of euros across all markets for Talabat
• Drive regional initiatives related to the optimization of the pricing and commercial agreements with partners related to online payments
• Set and execute, short and mid-term strategy of the pricing optimization of online payments
• Share regular updates on the performance metrics and initiatives with global, regional, and local stakeholders
• Streamline the communication amongst internal stakeholders (local, regional, global) from various departments (finance, controlling, product, engineering, etc) and external stakeholders (PSPs, APMs, acquirers, card schemes, etc)

Requirements:

• Solution-oriented and with a high sense of ownership
• 5+ years of payments experience with at least 2+ years within the acceptance domain in MENA
• Focused knowledge of card payments, PSPs, acquirers, APMs, and new payment technologies
