Position: Major Account Manager
Thales is currently seeking a Major Account Manager to join the team working REMOTE based out of the New York area. The Major Account Manager is responsible for managing a select group of large/strategic accounts within the North American territory or potentially globally
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely forecasting information to sales management
- Be able to act as a ‘trusted advisor’ and develop knowledge beyond just Thales product knowledge
- Deliver on revenue based sales quota objectives to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Manages, develops and grows strategic prospects and existing customer relationships
- Able to create and document account plans, business value plans customer success plans etc
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred and/or a minimum of 7 years of proven expertise in Technology Solution Sales
- 5+ years of sales experience in IT industries, at least 3 years at major account sales
- Proficient in the use of Salesforce.com
- Strong background in software products and/or subscription selling with experience working directly with strategic accounts
