Position: Logistics Assistant
To handle front desk operations with proper coordination of the process with operations, customers as well as handle logistics pertaining to documentation, customs clearance or export/import bill of lading and transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate despatch of products.
- Enter Product Release Orders and Delivery Orders in the Inventory system
- Enter Drum requirement as per the drumming schedule
- Maintain Delivery Orders, supporting documents file
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in handling logistical operations, preferably within oil and gas.
- To be fully conversant with customs regulations/documentation and general codes relevant to export and import of products.
- Need to be aware of the general transport regulations and rules applicable in particular to movements of hazardous products.
- Computer skills: Good computer skills and ability to develop spreadsheets.
