Job Description
Qatar Airways have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Lead Commercial Business Support Officer Europe, based in our Regional office and supporting all markets across Europe.

Responsibilities:

1. Assists in initiating and identifying improvements to administrative / Finance, procurement or contract related policies/ processes/ templates which affect Commercial to ensure continuous streamlining of internal processes.
2. Establish and maintain confidential filing system, sensitive correspondence relevant to Head Office.
3. Analyse proposed changes to delegation of authority (DOA) by commercial and outstation teams.
4. Help forecast manpower requirements for new financial year budget such as assets, benefits, stationary and vehicles.
5. Evaluate CMC budget proposals for outstations and recommend budget amendments if required.

Requirements:

1. Ideally a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of job-related experience in a business support or shared services role.
2. Experience of procurement, legal, facilities matters and proven experience of driving significant change in processes to remove duplication and drive efficiency.
3. Background in working closely in a commercial function.
4. Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.  With outstanding numerical skills. Analytical and detail-oriented.
5. Ability to multi-task. Excellent organizational ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
