Position: Label Business Development (SoundOn)
This role will support our new platform. SoundOn is an all-in-one platform powered by TikTok, designed to better service music creators through each step of their career — from TikTok integrated promotion tools to universal music distribution, from diverse monetization opportunities to smart music creation.
Responsibilities:
- Grow SoundOn’s record label partner base in US & UK by developing, negotiating and executing distribution deals with partners.
- Develop and maintain quality working relationships with label partners.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of the music marketplace to develop and execute label deal signing strategy
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience working in music and/or record labels or management.
- Sophisticated understanding of music industry and record label economics.
- Strong relationships with record labels, artists and artist managers
