Position: Infection Control Nurse
To assist with the implementation and maintenance of a functional Infection Prevention and Control programme at hospital level
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management guidance on infection prevention and control matters for the allocated business units
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team
- To ensure risks are identified and evidenced based practice is recommended and followed as per legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement and to mitigate risks
Requirements:
- Essential: 2-3 Years’ experience working in a hospital environment as a professional healthcare practitioner
- Experience as an infection control practitioner / infection control nurse in a hospital
- Desired: One year Infection Prevention and Control related work
