Job Description
Reporting to the Customs Manager the candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day operational processes carried out by the Import and Export Analysts for Boohoo. The Imports Team Leader will need strong management skills and operational experience with managing imports and customs declarations in conjunction with stock systems in relation to simplified procedures and customs warehousing

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 6 Import/Export Analyst assisting with, and managing the day to day operational workflows as well as prioritising and delegating on a daily basis.
• Managing the Customs Warehouse data entry process ensuring accuracy of Supplier invoice and Preference data for declaring into the Customs Warehouse system within the required deadlines.
• Ensuring data checks and validation is carried out to enable the correct Customs Duty and VAT to be accounted for and paid to HMRC prior to goods arriving at the Warehouse.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Imports, Customs and Duty Management
• Working knowledge of customs classification, valuation and origin rules
