Heriot-Watt University is a public research university based in Edinburgh, Scotland. 

Position: IDRIC Business & Impact Manager
The role of Business and Impact Manager is essential for IDRIC to achieve its strategic objectives in engaging with partners and stakeholders, increasing its industrial income, increasing the number and quality of strategic partnerships and delivering on the IDRIC Knowledge Exchange (KE) commitments.

Responsibilities:

  •  The B&I team is fully integrated with each other and the IDRIC core team, and working productively within IDRIC
  • working directly with industrial and non-research collaborators and IDRIC academic teams to facilitate engagement with the industrial clusters, partner and stakeholders, supporting business partnerships with the aim of increased income generation and delivering IDRIC KPIs

Requirements:

  • Educated to first degree level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable substantial professional expertise in business development, innovation and/or knowledge exchange.
  • Experience of working within in Higher Education.
