Position: Head Baker / Junior Pastry Sous Chef
As a Pastry Sous Chef, you will be working independently in own Pastry section within the kitchen, reporting to the group Product Development Manager and liaising with the Chef De Cuisine. You will be managing and organizing yourself with objective to deliver, with consistency, unique bespoke desserts of the finest quality.
Responsibilities:
- You will be ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed and are in accordance to the standard operating procedures as implemented in the outlet.
- In this role you will be coordinating and supervising food and supplies, budgeting expenses and preparing rotational seasonal desserts to the program .
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate must have a Diploma in Culinary with a minimum of 5 years of Pastry experience.
- Experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef de Partie in a role that is responsible for creating the finest modern, contemporary desserts is a must.
