Job Description
Based in boohoo Head Office in Manchester (though requiring occasional travel to other sites),  this is a wonderful opportunity for an ambitious Finance Systems Accountant or Analyst to take on an exciting transformational role in an extraordinary business.
Joining at an exciting time in boohoo’s continued growth, the finance function is undertaking a major replacement of existing software and applications and also embarking on a World Class Finance change programme.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsibility for ensuring current financial systems, controls and applications are maintained, configured correctly and any issues raised are escalated in a timely and efficient manner.

2. An initial point of contact for finance system queries, you will also act as a business partner between Finance and IT, assisting with many varied projects, testing and deployment.

3. Create and maintain financial & management reporting spreadsheets, models, data visualization tools and data extraction SQL ensuring that at all stages of design, development and deployment, the solutions are robust and ‘fit-for-purpose’ ; support with data and systems expertise combined with financial insight to resolve problems quickly.

Requirements:

1. Fully understands the fire, emergency and health & safety procedures of the workplace
2. Ensures that all potential and real hazards are taken care of immediately, and are reported appropriately.
