Job Description
This role is part of the finance team working alongside the finance managers, management accountants and accounts payable colleagues. The role is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounts payable processing, investigate and produce solutions to resolve payable processing errors and ensure that accounting accruals are accurate based on the systems information from which they are calculated.

Responsibilities:

1. Purchase order management: produce report of overdue purchase orders, chase fulfilment, check for mis-allocated invoices, clear down fulfilled purchase orders in conjunction with payable team

2. Goods received accruals: produce schedule of GRNI accruals and investigate aged items to confirm if invoices received have been mis-allocated. Investigate warehouse receiving processes to discover processing errors affecting PO matching.

3. Supplier statement reconciliations: maintain a register of supplier statement reconciliations to ensure the most at risk accounts are regularly reconciled, perform supplier statement reconciliations, liaise with payables team who may assist in preparation of reconciliations
