Job Description
The AI team at Samsung Research UK is looking for exceptional software engineers to join the growing team in Staines-upon-Thames. The team undertakes projects involving the application of cutting-edge research into proof-of-concept and commercial products for Samsung devices and services. The prospective candidate will have the opportunity to be part of building next generation mobile devices from Samsung

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features & functionality to extend our AI stack to support new AI methods like federated learning/incremental learning etc
• Identify and implement innovative optimisations to execute the models on the device efficiently
• Actively propose and prototype novel ideas/solutions considering real-world constraints
• Incorporate software engineering practices , understand and address software engineering questions that arise in R&D planning
• Maintain knowledge of current and future software development tools, techniques and frameworks for machine learning and AI research

Requirements:

• Batchelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, or related disciplines
• Professional software development experience with C/C++ (Python and/or Java will be a plus)
• Familiarity with software engineering practices and tools such as Git, CI, Agile, etc
• Expertise in either mobile security applications and/or machine learning frameworks
