Position: Data Privacy Analyst
Data privacy specialist within the Legal Department, reporting to the Senior Counsel, Cyber & Privacy Law. The data privacy specialist will support the Privacy lawyers, the Life Sciences function, Operations function and new Wellness and Healthcare business.
Responsibilities:
- Support legal and business unit personnel, as needed (e.g. audits and litigation when responding to law enforcement and regulatory authority requests).
- Develop and maintain a privacy training program to the relevant business functions on PMI’s data privacy requirements, internal privacy policy and standards.
- Provide regular updates on the status and progress of privacy compliance to the management and other stakeholders and promptly escalate privacy issues as necessary.
Requirements:
- Law degree or Associates Degree from an accredited college in the paralegal program or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience required.
- At least five (5) years of relevant privacy legal assistance experience within a private practice or specialised inhouse legal team.
- Experience of privacy in a regulated business, such as pharmaceutical or finance, is preferred.
