Position: Construction Director
As our Construction Director you lead and inspire a team to build a flexible, scalable, efficient, and sustainable warehouse from conceptual design all the way through to practical completion and final handover. You will lead your team to use Nike’s unique culture of innovation, disruption and dynamism to break new boundaries and ensure we create a truly unique working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the program leads, to inspire a team of subject matter experts from a range of fields.
- Connect and use internal know-how, including our internal Workplace Design + Connectivity team.
- Build effective relationships with all relevant contractors and sub contractors working on the final build.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in construction delivery of large scale industrial projects.
- Deep knowledge of the UK construction standards, standard design practices and contract management.
- Experience in designing procurement strategies and all different levels of vendor’s and partner’s management for construction activities.
