Job Description
The Business Editor is a member of the business team responsible for the development of Sky News Arabia’s business content. During your time slot, you will work under the direction of the business Senior Executive Producer to create and shape our business news coverage on TV, website, and social media platforms. Plan and execute events coverage, commercial content

Responsibilities:

• Prepare yearly events agenda and business staff deployment and rota.
• Assign tasks and manage the team.
• Coordinate content and interviews between different platforms.
• Produce distinctive and stylish market-leading business news coverage for SNA multi-platforms.TV, website, and social media
• Produce original light/ entertaining/ young business stories/ shows to be posted on all SNA digital assets
• Writing scripts for on-air talent, cutting pictures while using the newsroom production system, finding guests, commission and writing graphics, and other tasks as required.

Requirements:

• BA in Finance or another related social science major.
• Previous experience in a national or international broadcast news channel.
• Experience of or appreciation of the benefits and difficulties of cross-platform working.
