The University of Sharjah is an Emirati private national university located in University City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. It was established in October 1997 by its founder the ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi to meet the emirate of Sharjah’s aim of educational needs
Position: Business Analyst
To perform detailed requirements analysis, identify functional and non-functional requirements, document processes, and prepare workflows and user cases for user acceptance testing
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business processes, gather requirements, define risks and areas for improvement, as well as recommend and prioritize solutions.
- Conduct meetings with various stakeholders in order to gather critical information and documents, and document AS-IS processes and workflows.
- Perform Gap analysis between current practices and best practices, and accordingly prepare TO-BE Processes and workflow plans to be shared with the concerned stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or a relevant discipline.
- 6-8 years of UAE experience in a similar role preferably in higher education institutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prepare professional documents, in both Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in Visio or other Workflow builder tools.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
