Job Description
We are recruiting an ad-hoc Barge Operator on a temporary contract to mobilise offshore to our clients FPSO ASAP. The Barge Operator will be Responsible to the Marine Supervisor for maintaining the integrity of the FPSO by monitoring the stability, controlling the safe storage and offloading of the crude oil in conjunction with any required ballasting operations

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Crude oil is stored and maintained at temperature as per operational requirements, monitoring on-board totals and comparing accuracy with metered figures
• Check for water content within cargo tanks and strip back to slop tank(s
• Observe slop tank levels/interfaces and skim oil to cargo tanks as required
• Plan & Co-ordinate tank washing activities and prepare tanks for inspection. Includes COW (Crude Oil Washing program)
