Position: AWS PR Mgr. MENA & Turkey
Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a self-motivated, high-judgement, well-connected and experienced public relations professional to lead communications in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Turkey.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can clearly formulate and communicate PR recommendations and plans to peers, third party stakeholders, and executives, can drive collaborative decisions and deliver results. The candidate will be comfortable providing counsel and guidance to senior executives and a variety of internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly interact with senior leadership to develop and communicate AWS’s stories and strategic messages
- Devise and deliver the PR strategy and plan for MENA and Turkey, including communicating plans internally and securing leadership approvals
- Develop and strengthen relationships with technology, vertical, and business press and influencers
Requirements:
- Minimum of eight (8) years public relations experience in technology or related sector
- Writing and communication fluency in both Arabic and English
- Experience working alongside marketing, social, analyst relations and other functions to deliver integrated campaigns
