Job Description
The Assistant Manager, Internal Communications plays a key role in delivering an Exceptional Expo by informing and inspiring all Expo Hearts (paid staff, volunteers and contractors). The Assistant Manager, Internal Communications will be responsible for supporting the Manager Internal Communications to deliver effective communication plans that support the overall strategy and keep our Expo Hearts up-to-date.

Responsibilities:

• Support the team to deliver high impact communications that are relevant, informative, inspiring and engaging
• Support on the delivery of operational communications to support our event time operations
• Ensure the evolution and implementation of our volunteer communications to ensure our Expo 2020 volunteers remain informed and inspired throughout their time at Expo
• Work with stakeholders and Expo Hearts (paid staff, volunteers and contractors) across the business to source engaging content to share with our audiences throughout event time

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
• A bachelor’s degree within a relevant field
• Excellent written communication skills
• Fluent in Business English
• Strong technical computer skills – Microsoft Office, HTML experience, SharePoint (highly preferred)
